ARIANESPACE COMMITS TO GENDER EQUALITY IN THE WORKPLACE
With Valérie Pécresse present, Arianespace signed an agreement for occupational equality between men and women. Together with its social partners, Arianespace’s intention is to make a commitment by developing an agreement meeting its objectives in terms of gender balance and equal professional opportunity.

SAGEM SIGNS SUPPORT CONTRACT FOR AUSTRALIAN TIGER STRIX SIGHTS
Australian Aerospace, a subsidiary of Eurocopter, and Sagem (Safran Group) signed a support services contract at the Paris Air Show for the STRIX sights deployed on the Australian Army’s 22 EC665 Tiger fighter helicopters.

AIR FRANCE INDUSTRIES AND AIRCELLE CREATE MIDDLE-EAST-BASED JOINT VENTURE
Air France Industries and Aircelle (Safran Group) are partnering to create a joint venture for aircraft maintenance and repair services for aircraft engine pods in the Middle East. The joint venture will be based in Dubai’s “Jebel Ali Free Zone”.

LAUNCH OF EUROPEAN DIGITAL HUB BOOSTAEROSPACE
EADS/Airbus, Dassault Aviation, Safran, and Thales have decided to create a digital European aerospace hub called BoosAeroSpace. It will provide secure collaborative services with a high added value in the field of PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) and SCM (Supply Chain Management). The collaborative platform will be available by the end of 2010.

ASTRIUM TO BUILD SATELLITE INTEGRATION CENTRE IN KAZAKHSTAN
At the Paris Air Show, Astrium and JSC National “Kazakhstan Gharysh Sapary” have signed the first contract for the construction of a major satellite integration centre, which will be part of the future Kazakhstan national space centre in Astana.

12 pilots, 24 hours, 1 aircraft. On June 25-26th, these 10 aviators are going to take shifts on board of a Cirrus SR22 – single engine 4 seater aircraft – and land on 100 different airfields located all around continental France.
That's the challenge 100/24.
